What is the income tax slab for FY 2026-27?
Under the new regime (default): 0% up to Rs 4L, 5% from Rs 4-8L, 10% from Rs 8-12L, 15% from Rs 12-16L, 20% from Rs 16-20L, 25% from Rs 20-24L, 30% above Rs 24L. Section 87A rebate makes income up to Rs 12,75,000 (including Rs 75,000 standard deduction) effectively tax-free.
